The Challenge
A first problem is arisen when we enhance a project like this in other continent, namely, the speed. We check that the display of the fairs hosted in Spain, though acceptable, is lower enough from there.
The Solution
We suggest some possible solutions but the idea of hosting the Fair in a Server in Canada was the one that convinces us finally. This is what our partners make in this project (Curriculum.br) and it works very well.
Technology: Adobe Flex - 3D renderings and animations - instant messages via IRC - Red5 video conference app.
The Result
The results were excellent. The user experience increased considerably and the results of visits (more than 100,000) and the obtained CVs prove it. It’s the greater success of visitors that attend a two weeks Virtual Fair at this point of time.
